AGRIBIOMIX

Water purification and soil decontamination using plants

Nature offers powerful solutions for treating pollution. At Agribiomix, we select fast-growing plants with dense root systems, capable of filtering wastewater(phytodepuration) or extracting and degrading pollutants from the soil(phytoremediation).
Discover our species adapted to ecological rehabilitation:

Bamboos and Miscanthus (water filtration): Indispensable for planted filters and lagoons. Their roots form a tight mesh that oxygenates the substrate, encourages purifying bacteria and retains suspended matter. Ideal for independent wastewater treatment or buffer zones.

Willows and poplars (soil remediation): These pioneering trees are used in phytoremediation to extract heavy metals (cadmium, lead) or degrade hydrocarbons present in the soil. Thanks to their high evapotranspiration rate, they also limit the migration of pollutants to groundwater (phytostabilization).

Agribiomix expertise: Whether you’re a private individual installing phytodepuration or a professional managing a wasteland, success depends on plant recovery. We supply vigorous strains, acclimatized in France, ready to play their role as “purification pumps” from the very first season.
