Biomass energy

Diversify your farm income with our perennial biomass crops
Green energy production is a major diversification lever for agriculture. At Agribiomix, we can help you set up low-input crops capable of adding value to your land while producing local, renewable biomass.
Find our selection of plants and seeds for your methanization, wood-energy (heating) or mulching projects:

Miscanthus Giganteus: The benchmark for biomass boilers and horticultural mulching. A robust crop, with no chemical inputs after planting, offering high calorific value.

Silphia (Silphium perfoliatum): The champion of methanization and biodiversity. This highly persistent melliferous plant provides long-lasting ground cover and secures your stocks of fodder or inputs for methanizers.

Fast-growing trees (Paulownia, Poplar, Willow): Ideal for very short rotation coppicing (VSCR) or agroforestry. Paulownia and Poplar enable rapid production of timber or wood chips, while storing carbon.

Why choose Agribiomix plants? As farmers and nurserymen, we select strains adapted to our terroirs (Hauts-de-France and throughout France). Our aim is to provide you with healthy planting material, with technical support for successful planting and maximum yield per hectare. Take part in the relocalization of energy production with sustainable solutions.
