Technical & Cultural Itinerary
Planting density (biomass): Around 45,000 plants/hectare for optimum yield in dense coppicing.
Planting period: Autumn to end of April (excluding frost periods).
Late tip: For any planting after April 1st, we recommend soaking the cuttings in water for 24 hours before planting to reactivate the sap flow.
Storage before planting: If you don’t plant immediately, keep your cuttings cool (max +5°C) and away from light. Avoid exposure to dew or warm humidity to prevent premature germination above ground.
